HNT ALUMNUM FRONT SKID PLATE
The Aluminum Front Skid provides light-weight, high clearance, front-end protection for 6th-Generation Ford Broncos that love to go fast. Designed with a nod to the Bronco’s desert-racing heritage, this skid may be used with the factory Ford “Modular” or “Capable” steel bumpers or our own LOBO HNT and WNC Front Bumpers. Fitment for the Bronco Raptor has not yet been confirmed. The kit includes replacement intercooler/skid brackets to mount the skid as High-N-Tight as possible while also making it a universal fit regardless of what bumper and intercooler mounts the Bronco came with from the factory. The HNT Aluminum Front Skid Plate is made entirely of 3/16 thick aluminum plate, CNC laser cut, precision brake-formed, and professionally fixture welded for a consistent fit and finish. Premium hardware and detailed installation instructions are included. This version of the HNT Hidden Winch Skid comes in raw aluminum. It is also available in a durable light-textured black multi-stage powder coat finish. The raw aluminum version comes with beautiful exposed TIG welds while the welds on the powder coated version have been finish-sanded to form smooth corners and edges prior to coating.
THE HNT DESIGN ETHOS
LOBO Off-Road’s proprietary High-N-Tight Design Ethos guides the product development of this and every component in our HNT Series. The HNT Ethos strives to tuck every facet of the bumper, slider, skid or component as close as possible to the vehicle components it protects, in order to yield the maximum clearance possible to slip past the tightest obstacles. While HNT Series components are built to take a hit if necessary, they are designed to minimize the risk of contact in the first place. HNT design language also incorporates low-drag surfaces with ramp angles and facets for guiding the vehicle up and over obstacles when contact is made, rather than hanging up on sharp corners and protrusions. While the HNT Design Ethos is silent on the subject of aesthetics, we believe that adhering to the High-N-Tight philosophy has the unintended consequence of yielding the best looking armor products possible.

High & Tight…this is a superb replacement for the factory plastic skid on my 22 Wildtrak. This skid mounts high and sits tight behind the modular bumper.
I chose to coat it with Monstaliner like the exterior of my rig and it turned out GREAT
